And now for something completely different!

I am a bite leery about such terms as “Web 2.0” and the “semantic web” and such, mostly because they are more-often-than-not ambiguous marketing terms. However, I am fond of the idea of web-based applications. It makes a lot of sense to me as long as security issues are considered.

Well these web apps are mostly just for fun, and security is probably not as important. Instead, Ze Frank is interested in how we play on the web. He’s a fun and entertaining guy who’s spoken at TED and has some very interesting ideas.

This little app (one among many at his site) is simple yet quite entertaining. If you’ve ever wanted to be good at drawing/illustrating, then you should check this out, regardless of any real skill you may possess. (Be sure to check out their impressive gallery from visitors of all ages.)
